History:

Version 1.0 AE
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-Changed all paths to relative. Should be able to reside in any directory.

-Data files should be in the ..\ directory (one directory up from TA Extract).

-Added auto linking of units\UNITNAME.zip file exists. The linked files should
be in the .\units\ directory under the directory where the TAExtract results
are.

-Changed builds and used-by columns to have 35 entries. Removed redundant
tags at top.

-Cosmetic changes to the weapon data page.

-Added some commenting in code and cleaned up a bit.

-If the file \ini\dopics.txt is not present, the lengthy pcx->jpg conversion
will be skipped.

-Fixed the moving cloak cost reporting.

This is TAExtract beta-9
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes in this version:

UnitsOnly tag added to weapon stats.

Changed to become more compatible with TA:Mutation
Now searches for *.hpi instead of just totala1.hpi
Searches *.ccx instead of just ccdata.ccx
Does not complain if rev31.gp3 is missing.
So the order for file extraction is:
*.hpi
*.ufo
*.ccx
rev31.gp3

Program ensures that these files are in place:
HPIDUMP.EXE
CONVERT.EXE
NAVMAIN.HTM
INDEX.HTM
INI\TABLE.INI
INI\HEADER.TXT
INI\FOOTER.TXT
DATA\ (all included data files)

Program ensures that TA install path is not too long, and contains no spaces.

Notes from TAExtract beta-8

Changes in this version:

Fixed bug that caused a few units (Leviathan and maybe more) to not show up in
the build sections.

=================================================================================

Notes from TAExtract beta-7

Changes in this version:

Added "index.htm" to the HTML directory. This will provide frames and a quick
navigation shortcuts for both Commanders and all the factories.

Renamed the "HEADFOOT" directory to "INI"

Added "Table.ini"
This file contains first line for the <TABLE> code used to generate the tables.
Now you can customize it to your liking.

=================================================================================

Notes from TAExtract beta-6

Changes in this version:

The long awaited Custom Header & Footer feature is here!!
In the subdirectory called "HEADFOOT", you will find two files.
Header.txt
Footer.txt
These files are the headers and footers used for each web page generated.
Modify them how you please. :)

Added links from units to weapons used by their death explosions, and self-d explosions.

=================================================================================

Notes from TAExtract beta-5

Changes in this version:

Fixed a huge bug I hadn't noticed where links weren't properly generated until the
second time you run the program. Since I ran it many times without resetting the
data, I never noticed.

Fixed the multiple column build list bug that showed duplicate copies of some units.

Fixed bug where No-Autofire was displayed when ImmuneToParalyzer was true.

Added Wind Generator statistic.

Filtered out broken links caused by settings showing up for (AI typically) units that

are not part of your current install.

Notes from TAExtract beta-4

Changes in this version:

Links between pages are now represented by unit build pics instead of the unitname,
which can be confusing. Now navigation is easier than ever.
For weapons with more than 25 special damage values, multiple damage columns are created
to prevent super-long web pages.
3 columns still display on a 1024x768 screen without scrolling, and only a handful of
weapons have more than that many damage values.

Also, many thanks to Marco for pointing out to me that gamedata/sidedata.tdf contains
all the missing construction links.
Now all the pages appear to be linked correctly.

Now TAExtract produces comma delimited output files (in the output directory).
The files are .CSV and can be read directly by Excel.
Field layouts are listed by .TXT files with the same name.

In future versions, there are plans to incorporate custom headers and/or footers for
the web pages.

Notes from TAExtract beta-3

Changes in this version:

Now weapon data pages are created.
They contain all of what I could find useful in the weapon data files.
They are linked to the unit pages where they should be, providing easy navigation.

Also, today I noticed that many of the OTA units do not have TDF files in a download
directory showing what builds them.
This disturbing turn of events forces me to type in data by hand and pre-load the
construction tables so that the pages will link together properly.
It will be a lengthy process. I will have to do it for all the OTA construction
units and factories.
So far, I tried it with the Arm Commander with favorable results.
You will notice that the Arm Commander's build menu is complete.
I will type in more as time goes by. Its getting late and it is time for me
to hang this project up for the night.

=================================================================================

Notes from TAExtract beta-2

Changes in this version:

Now the web pages all link to each other based on what unit builds what.
This enhancement will make it very very easy to navigate pages, since we all know
what units build what already anyway.

Also, the damage modifier error has been corrected.

Notes from TAExtract beta-1

Place the TAExtract directory under your TA game directory.
Run TAExtract.exe
When the program is done, you will have hundreds of small web pages in a directory
called HTML under TAExtract.
These pages contain unit data.
Weapon detail is not included in this version.
